MEET EYTAN
Eytan Wallace is an Emmy Award winning journalist who brings a unique passion and enthusiasm to the world of news and politics. A multimedia journalist with Nexstar Media in Sacramento, CA, he covers all-things state government and politics for Nexstar's nine CA news stations including KTLA5 Los Angeles, KRON4 Bay Area, FOX40 KTXL Sacramento, CBS47 Eyewitness News Fresno, KSEE24 NBC Fresno, KGET 17 Bakersfield, Telemundo Bakersfield, FOX5 KSWB San Diego, and KUSI-TV San Diego.
In 2018, Wallace joined the KGET-TV 17 News team in Bakersfield, CA after he graduated with honors from the USC Annenberg School for Communication and journalism with a degree broadcast and digital journalism, and political science from the USC Dornsife College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences. At the end of his academic career, Eytan was awarded the prestigious Hearst Award for excellence in journalism.

Before joining KGET, Eytan's broadcast journalism experience included reporting and producing for the acclaimed Annenberg TV News, where he worked both in front of and behind the camera. Eytan also served as a digital producer for the Daily Trojan, USC's official student newspaper. He thoroughly enjoyed and benefited greatly from his internships with NBCLA’s (KNBC-TV’s) esteemed political reporter, Conan Nolan, and with NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt. Before joining KGET, Eytan worked part time at NBCLA (KNBC-TV) at the assignment desk, gathering breaking news and conducting research for stories that will appear on air. He has also worked on various political campaigns, and considers himself a news and political junkie.
